Annual General Meeting 2017
The 197th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the RAS will be held in the lecture theatre of the Geological Society, Burlington House, London, on Friday 12th May 2017 at 16:00. It is open to RAS Fellows and staff members only.
The General Meeting of Fellows is the ultimate authority in the affairs of the society, with the power to appoint Council members, determine the byelaws of the society, and to amend its Royal Charter. Important business includes consideration of the annual report and accounts and setting membership rates. We encourage all Fellows of the society to attend.

The AGM will be followed by the Ordinary Meeting that will include the presentation of the second tranche of RAS 200: Sky and Earth awards by Professor Steve Miller and Professor John Zarnecki's Presidential Address, 'Titan; The Moon that Thinks It's a Planet'.
